Privacy notice

Last updated: October 4, 2026

This is a draft. It is waiting for legal review and may change before it takes effect.

When you send a vendor an inquiry or answer a wedding invitation on Kazhida, we keep what you type into the form and a few technical details that stop spam. The vendor or the couple reads it. We never sell it, we delete or anonymise it on a fixed schedule, and you can ask for deletion at any time.

Who is this notice for?

Anyone who uses a form on a Kazhida page without needing an account: a visitor writing to a vendor, or a guest answering a wedding invitation. Kazhida runs those pages and stores what you enter in them. This notice does not cover the accounts of couples and vendors.

What happens to my inquiry to a vendor?

What we collect

  • Your name and the message you write.
  • A phone number or an email address. You need to give at least one, so the vendor can reply.
  • Details you choose to add: your wedding date, the number of guests and the package you are asking about.
  • When you gave your consent, and which version of the consent text you agreed to.

Why we use it

To pass your message to the vendor so they can answer you, and to send you a confirmation if you gave an email address. You agree to this when you tick the box before sending. We also use a few technical details to stop spam, described below.

Who sees it

The vendor you wrote to receives your name, contact details and message by email and in their Kazhida inbox. The Kazhida team can open an inquiry only to keep the service running, to deal with abuse or to help you when you write to us.

Once a vendor has your message, they use it to answer you and are responsible for their own copy. If you want them to delete it, ask the vendor. We can only delete our copy.

What happens to my answer to a wedding invitation?

What we collect

  • Your name, so we can find your invitation, and your answer: coming or not coming.
  • Your meal choice, and the same details for the people in your household or your plus-one: their names and meals.
  • Details you choose to add: an allergy or dietary note (see the section on notes below), a message to the couple and a song request.
  • An email address, only if you ask for a confirmation.
  • If your name is not on the list and you ask the couple to add you: your name and your message.

Why we use it

So the couple knows who is coming and can plan the menu, the seating and the day itself. We also send the confirmation you asked for, and we use a few technical details to stop spam, described below. Optional details are optional: leaving them out changes nothing about your invitation.

Who sees it

The couple whose invitation you answer sees your answers on their guest list and in their notification emails. Kazhida stores them for the couple. We never sell them or use them for advertising. Other guests cannot see your answers: searching for a name on the site shows only a household label and the number of guests.

What about allergy and dietary notes?

A note about an allergy or a special diet can reveal health information, so we handle it with extra care. Writing one is optional. Only the couple can read it, so they can prepare the menu. We delete every note 60 days after the wedding date.

  • You decide whether to write a note and what to put in it. Your invitation works the same without one.
  • Only the couple reads the note. Confirmation emails never repeat it. They say only that a note was saved.
  • If you come back to change your answer, the site shows that a note is saved but never shows its text. Write a new note only if something has changed.
  • By writing a note, you agree that we store it and show it to the couple for the menu. You can withdraw that agreement at any time by asking us to delete the note.

How do we keep the forms safe from spam?

Our forms use invisible automated checks instead of a CAPTCHA. To limit how often one connection can send, we make a one-way code from your IP address, one that cannot be turned back into the address, and another from your message, to spot the same message sent twice. We never store the IP address itself. Messages our checks flag as spam are kept apart and deleted after 30 days.

How long do we keep it?

We keep data only as long as we need it. After that it is deleted, or anonymised so that nobody can tell who it came from.

Kept forData
30 daysMessages flagged as spam. One-way codes made from IP addresses and messages. The email address you give for an RSVP confirmation (counted from the day you give it).
Until 60 days after the wedding dateAllergy and dietary notes. Requests to be added to a guest list.
24 monthsVendor inquiries. After that your name, phone, email and message are cleared, and we keep only dates and counts, which do not identify you. Counted from the day you send the inquiry.
As long as the couple's wedding page existsOther RSVP answers, messages to the couple and song requests. You can ask us to delete yours sooner.

Who else handles my data?

We use providers that host the service, store data and send email for us. They handle data only on our instructions. Some may store it on servers outside North Macedonia. We never sell your data and we never use it for advertising.

What are my rights, and how do I ask for deletion?

You can ask us to delete your data at any time. Write to support@maecodes.com and tell us your name, the email or phone number you used, and the vendor or wedding it was for. We reply within 30 days.

You also have the right to:

  • see the data we hold about you and get a copy
  • have wrong data corrected
  • ask us to delete your data or limit how we use it
  • withdraw your consent at any time, which does not affect what was done before
  • object to how we use your data
  • complain to the Personal Data Protection Agency of North Macedonia

We may ask you to confirm that the data is yours before we delete or share it, so that nobody else can delete or read yours.

Will this notice change?

It may. When it changes in a way that matters to you, we update the date at the top. We store the version of the consent text you agreed to together with your inquiry.
